SUPERNOVA 2002do IN MCG +07-41-1

W. D. Li, University of California at Berkeley, reports the LOTOSS (cf. IAUC 7906) discovery of an apparent supernova (mag about 16.3) on unfiltered KAIT CCD images taken on June 17.4 and 18.3 UT. SN 2002do is located at R.A. = 19h56m12s.88, Decl. = +40o26'10".8 (equinox 2000.0), which is 8".2 north of the nucleus of MCG +07-41-1. A KAIT image taken on May 29.4 showed nothing at this position (limiting mag about 19.0).
