SUPERNOVA 2003aa IN NGC 3367

     Further to IAUC 8061, B. Swift, H. Pugh, and W. Li report the
LOTOSS discovery of an apparent supernova (mag about 17.6) on
unfiltered KAIT images taken on Jan. 31.4 and Feb. 1.4 UT.  SN
2003aa is located at R.A. = 10h46m36s.82, Decl. = +13o45'32".2
(equinox 2000.0), which is 26".4 east and 30".2 north of the
nucleus of NGC 3367.  A KAIT image taken on Jan. 24.4 showed
nothing at this position (limiting mag about 18.5).
