SUPERNOVA 2003gk IN NGC 7460

Further to IAUC 8161, J. Graham and W. Li report the LOTOSS
discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken
on July 1.5 (mag about 17.1) and July 2.5 UT (mag about 17.2).  SN
2003gk is located at R.A. = 23h01m42s.99, Decl. = +2o16'08".7
(equinox 2000.0), which is 1".6 east and 19".2 north of the nucleus
of NGC 7460.  A KAIT image taken on 2002 Dec. 3.2 showed nothing at
this position (limiting mag about 19.0).

Host galaxy info: vel = 3192 km/s, 1.4 x 1.0, 13.61, SB(s)b pec:
