SUPERNOVA 2007I

     urther to IAUC 8794, N. Lee and W. Li report the LOSS discovery of
an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Jan. 14.44 (at
mag 18.0) and 15.49 UT (mag 17.6).  SN 2007I is located at R.A. =
11h59m13s.15, Decl. = -1o36'18".9 (equinox 2000.0), which is 0".8 east
and 0".8 south of the center of the apparent host galaxy.  A KAIT image
taken on 2006 Dec. 7.46 showed nothing at this position (limiting mag 19.2).

Host galaxy info: vel = 6487 km/s; 0.3 x 0.2; 18.0g
