SUPERNOVA 2007go IN ESO 475-G16

Further to CBET 1012, H. Khandrika and W. Li report the discovery
of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Aug 7.43
(at mag 18.5) and 8.44 UT (mag 18.7).  The new object is located at
R.A. = 1h18m44s.22, Decl. = -23o56'47".8 (equinox 2000.0), which is 19".4
west and 4".8 south of the nucleus of ESO 475-G16.  KAIT images taken on
2006 Sept. 1.35 (limiting mag 19.8) and 2007 Jan. 15.10 (limiting mag
19.0) showed nothing at this location.

Host galaxy info: vel = 7050 km/s, 1.0 x 0.6, 14.20, (R?)SB(r)ab
