SUPERNOVA 2007ki IN MCG +05-17-10


Further to CBET 1084, D. Madison and W. Li report the discovery
of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Sept. 27.55
(at mag 18.4) and 30.55 UT (mag 18.5).  The new object is located at R.A.
= 7h06m00s.90, Decl. = +28o17'45".4 (equinox 2000.0), which is 5".2 west
and 1".4 south of the nucleus of MCG +05-17-10.  A KAIT image taken
on Mar. 9.22 showed nothing at this location (limiting mag 19.8).
