SUPERNOVA 2007rt IN UGC 6109


Further to CBET 1140, W. Li reports the discovery of an apparent
supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Nov. 24.54 (at mag 16.8) and
26.53 UT (mag 16.9).  The new object is located at R.A. = 11h02m34s.29,
Decl. = +50o34'58".5 (equinox 2000.0), which is 6".5 west and 2".1 north
of the nucleus of UGC 6109.  A KAIT image taken on May 8.11 showed nothing
at this location (limiting mag 19.1).
