SUPERNOVAE 2010ct IN NGC 3362

Further to CBET 2218, S. B. Cenko, W. Li, and A. V. Filippenko,
University of California, report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova
on unfiltered KAIT images:

 2010ct   May 15.20   10 44 50.02  + 6 36 05.3   19.2    26".2 W, 16".3 N

Additional KAIT magnitudes for 2010ct in NGC 3362:  a co-added image from
2010 Feb. 18 to Apr. 19, [20.4; May 16.23 UT, 19.2.  The type-II supernova
2001Y (cf. IAUCs 7592, 7593) was also discovered in this galaxy.

Host galaxy info: vel= 8290 km/s; 1.27 x 1.14; 13.7g; SABc Sy2

SN type info: IIP
