NAME

show - displays status of telescope and data

SYNOPSIS

show [acc] [cand] [cat] [data] [ins] [list] [log] [proc] [ktel] [targets]

DESCRIPTION

show prints out information about the telescope depending on the choice of the option. The telescope is selected by the value of HOME_DIR.

OPTIONS

acc - tails the output of the file accepter.log in the current data directory so that you can see what requests have been received recently.

cand - displays the supernova search (if there is one) candidate summary. See showcand for details of the format.

cat - vi's the catalog of observations (CAT file) for the current month.

data - displays a directory of the current data directory.

ins - does a `tail -f' of the file insgen.log in the current data directory so you can watch the operation of the telescope control programs. It is terminated by Cntrl^C.

ktel - displays the printed output of the ktel UNIX socket that controls the telescope (at KAIT).

list - displays the list of targets that insgen has done and will do.

log - does a `tail -f' of the file `tserver.log' displaying the low level telescope/ccd commands.

proc - shows the insgen, accepter, and tserver processes.

targets - displays selected information from the targets with legitimate id codes (eg. Apr34abc).
