I will be starting as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at McGill University and the McGill Space Institute in August 2018. Prospective graduate students and prospective postdoctoral fellows are encouraged to contact me at acliu at physics dot mcgill dot ca about research projects and potential positions.

I am a cosmologist working on the boundary between theory and observations in 21 cm cosmology. By using data from a new generation of radio telescopes, I seek to understand how the first stars and galaxies formed, with the eventual goal of mapping an unprecedentedly large volume of our observable Universe.
