SUPERNOVA 2001cl IN NGC 7260

Li also reports the LOTOSS discovery by M. Papenkova of another apparent supernova (mag about 17.2) in unfiltered images taken with the KAIT on June 4.5 and 5.4 UT. The new object is located at R.A. = 22h22m37s.52, Decl. = -4 07'30".8 (equinox 2000.0), which is 15".5 east and 16".0 south of the nucleus of NGC 7260. A KAIT image of the same field taken on 2000 Dec. 5.2 showed nothing at this position (limiting mag about 19.0).
