SUPERNOVA 2007L IN UGC 466

     Further to IAUC 8794, R. Mostardi and W. Li report the LOSS discovery
of an apparent supernova (mag 16.8) on unfiltered KAIT images taken on
Jan. 18.10 and 19.10 UT.  SN 2007L is located at R.A. = 0h43m52s.20, Decl.
= +0o47'35".6 (equinox 2000.0), which is 5".1 east and 31".3 south of the
center of UGC 466.  A KAIT image taken on Jan. 8.11 showed nothing at this
position (limiting mag 18.3).

Host galaxy info: vel = 5395 km/s; 1.3 x 0.5; 14.8g; SB(s)a pec?
