SUPERNOVAE 2010ib

Further to CBET 2462, S. B. Cenko, W. Li, and A. V. Filippenko,
University of California, report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova
on unfiltered KAIT images:

 2010ib   Sept. 5.38   1 25 47.54  - 1 22 29.7   19.2    3".3 E, 12".5 S

Additional KAIT magnitudes for SN 2010ib:  a co-added image from 2009 July-
Dec., [20.5; 2010 Sept. 10.47 UT, 19.4.  The offset above is with respect to
Minkowski's object, a starburst galaxy that is itself quite close to NGC 541.
