Further to CBET 2699, M. Mason, S. B. Cenko, W. Li, and A. V. Filippenko report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images: SN 2011 UT R.A. (2000.0) Decl. Mag. Offset 2011cc Mar. 17.52 16 33 49.44 +39 15 48.7 17.7 2".3 W, 0".9 N Additional KAIT magnitudes for 2011cc: 2010 Sept. 13.16 UT, [19.1 (KAIT); 2011 Apr. 17.51, 17.6 (KAIT). Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia, reports this a red-filtered image taken remotely with a 51-cm RCOS telescope at the New Mexico Skies Observatory near Mayhill, NM, U.S.A., on Apr. 18.471 shows 2011cc at position end figures 49s.48, 47".8, noting that the variable was too close to the galaxy core to get easy photometry.-----------------------------
