SUPERNOVA 2011in IN NGC 2966

     Further to CBET 2837, S. B. Cenko, W. Li, and A. V. Filippenko report the
LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images:

Nothing was visible at the
position of 2011in on a KAIT image from May 3.21 UT (limiting mag 18.5).

Host galaxy info: vel= 2044 km/s ; 2.2' x 0.9'; 13.56mag; SBc
