NAME
tin - transmit a message to insgen
SYNOPSIS
tin [wait] [verbose] msg ...
DESCRIPTION
tin transmits all the arguments in the command line to the
insgen
program using the socket $HOME_DIR/INSERV. Where $HOME_DIR must
be specified in the environment. It awaits the reply, and sends it to
stdout.
If the wait keyword is specified the program waits for the insgen
server to appear, otherwise, if insgen is not running, the program exits with
a non-zero status
code.
The verbose keyword causes various debugging statements to be printed
out.
BUGS
Interrupt (with cntrl^C) can cause
insgen
to hang.
