The Leuschner Observatory BAIT Page

The Automated Imaging 0.5- and 0.76-m telescopes were used at the astronomy department's Leuschner Observatory until 1994 December for detailed monitoring of transient objects and for conducting the Leuschner Observatory Supernova Search (LOSS).

The LOSS discovered SNe 1992bt, 1993G, 1993R, 1993X, 1993Z, 1994D and 1994ae. A plot of the discovery times as a function of galaxy years is shown here.
