sn_submit
sn_submit
is a C-shell script which inspects a supernova search
candidate file and sees whether it is worthy of being looked at again.
It does it by testing the quality of the match and the brightness
of the candidate.
If a candidate passes, the program writes a
request
file with a very high priority
to reobserve the galaxy copies it into the
request directory it then waits one hour and
uses the
tin
command to inform the telescope scheduler.
If the re-observation also detects the supernova, it may be
rescheduled again.
